Britney Spears’s documentary ‘For The Record’ aired last night in the US. In the documentary the singer looks back on her nervous breakdown and talks about what it’s like dealing with such a chaotic lifestyle as well as finally being on the road to a full recovery. Watch the full entire documentary below:

She appears well put together in the documentary but her expressions are still glazy. I thought her parody of her father was cute, although she reduced him to tears.
Here’s what she really feels about it all:
“I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I’ve learned my lesson now and enough is enough.
There’s no excitement, there’s no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, you know there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like Groundhog Day every day.
It’s really bad. I’m sad.
That said, the documentary was really insightful. For The Record will air tonight in the UK on Sky at about 8pm I think but be sure to check your TV Listing. The singer will sing three tracks tomorrow on Good Morning America which is her 27th birthday gig. She will perform ‘Womanizer’, ‘Circus’ and ‘Piece of Me’.
Anyway, here’s another sneak look at her new video ‘Circus’, which will premiere on Friday (Dec 5th):

Jive and their lil teaser clips. I don’t recall them doing this for any of their other artists (poor Ciara) but then again, this IS Britney Spears we’re talking about.
Also, check out her latest Patrick Demarchelier spread for Glamour Magazine:

Best photoshoot she’s done in a long time. She looks great!!!

Thought she was pretty funny when she was shopping but it’s really sad that her life is surrounded by paparazzi and can’t do anything. That photoshoot looks like it was shot years back.
The circus vid looks like it’s going to be good, i really hope it’s filled with dancing, it looks like it is but with womanizer who really knows.
Wish she would perform Gimme More, i didn’t care much for Piece of Me.

She looks great in Glamour but why couldn’t they air brush the bags under her eyes on the cover shot.
I haven’t watched the documentary yet but I’ll check it out!

In that third pic in the first set, I thought she was in a straight jacket at first glance LOL. She looks good in the photos…Doubt I’ll watch her little special.

Her dad wasn’t crying because he thought she was mean to him for making that impression of him, he cried because he thought it was so funny…

I saw part of this last night. Honestly, it seemed to be simply a marketing plan for the upcoming album. It was so carefully orchestrated. I mean, documentaries are supposed to show insight into your daily life. I’m sure it did some of that, especially in terms of the paps hounding her, etc. But Britney herself seemed to be walking a tight rope the entire time IMO.
I thought the most significant and revealing portion of this doc. was in the beginning when her manager Larry Rudolph said that the “comeback” begins now. On the otherhand, Britney mentioned that she hates the term “comeback.” She feels she’s just been going through the ups and downs of life and there wasn’t a need to “stage a comeback.” I feel like if anything needs to comeback, it’s her kids and her peace of mind. She has all these people around her so determined about her career, she looks like a simple puzzle piece in a grand plan.
I honestly feel sorry for her. If everything happens the way her handlers want: she sells 2 million the first week, her tour is sold out, number 1 songs, reclaimed fanbase and popularity, etc. Will she be any different? I honestly don’t think so. In terms of her, success will only lead to greater expectations and pressure. She seemed to be pressured-out already.

I think it may be too much too soon, also. I loved Blackout, but I bought it after it had been out a while. I’m still not sure if I will get Circus or not.

i agree with Ja…it wasn’t really that insightful…i think the reason is because it was way too short…they were trying to squeeze in 60 days into an hour and because of that i felt like they were trying to show the good bits mostly…Circus looks like it’s going to be an AMAZING video…i can’t hardly wait really…she seems as if she’s trying to find a balance and i wish her luck with that…and if anything i’m so filled with disgust for the paps…i hope Kanye busts a few more noses while he’s at it and that the pap law really gets passed…look at what those bastards did to Princess Diana…nobody should be so boxed in that they can’t spend a regular day with their kids…

That photoshoot is nice, but her smiles don’t seem genuine. She looks good though.
That clip of Circus was worthless.

I feel that it’s rather degrading that you had to make it a point that Britney and Beyonce both use gay choreographers. What’s that have to do with anything?

Jamie has a tendency to cry at a lot of things when it comes to Britney, and its always out of love for his daughter. With that being said, he was crying because he enjoyed her “impression” of him. It is just how it is.
