Earlier today, Beyonce stopped by on her biggest promotional assignment yet - a performance of her latest single ‘If I Were A Boy’ on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Check out the performance below:
She smashed it. Best performance of the song yet. MUCH better than her EMA performance which I still consider a snorefest. This performance had more character, depth, emotion and expression. Loved it. She also did an interview as well, so once that becomes available I’ll post.

Bey has truly evolved right in front of our eyes. Years ago, she would never have dared to be this candid or personable in interviews. She has become so comfortable with herself and so happy and anyone with a decent mind can see that.
As for the performance, she KILLED it. That was without a doubt the best IIWAB performance (not that there have been that many). But what else is to to expected of Bey?
Lastly, she looked STUNNING. True happiness does that to you, I guess.

The Queen have arrived….Beyonce never looked or seemed that comfortable…..Beyonce has grown over the years….through all the makeup, weave and weight issues…she has finaly found a balance in her life…Happiness shows in so many ways…I am glad she is happy…ANd through her music you can tell she is in love…deep in love…lol…As for the performance I really liked it..but did she cut a verse out or something…..oh well…job well done Beyonce…But i need you too bring the head with SIngle Ladies…lol…

I know she sings in low registers at first, but her voice it wavered and was weak in spots until she moved up in key…..
I thought it was an OKAY performance.
Her movements, the stomping and the stepping, seemed a bit off like she wasn’t hearing the music in time or something…
The interview made me LOVE Beyonce….and totally TOTALLY despise this alter ego bullshit. But her performance for me was nothing to write home about; it was just a performance.
Did they film it in the morning or something? Hence her voice?

I actually liked this interview. I felt like she was a lot more comfortable, and better able to articulate herself. In 2003 interviews, she seemed to have a hard time getting her words out.
