A new track by Ne-Yo has surfaced on the net not too long ago. The Syience-produced track is called ‘Nothing New’ and you can check it out below.

I know some people are gonna slap me in the face because I previously stated that I wouldn’t be supporting anymore of Ne-Yo’s music due to his continuous racy comments, but after seeing his heartfelt tribute to Michael Jackson, I guess I can give him another chance. As for the song, it’s not perfect, mainly due to his falsetto. Overall though, the track is enjoyable. It actually has a sharp resemblance to ‘Sex With My Ex’ from his 2007 album ‘Because of You,’ which I absolutely loved. The songs looping synths and percussion are what makes the song ear-engaging, and if he decides to use the track in the near-future, a few more ad-libs throughout the verses would make it 10 times better. -Lyriqueizmuziq
SIDENOTE: I know I haven’t been frequently posting like I used to, mainly due to me job searching throughout Portland, but now since I landed a new gig in Marketing for a hospital, I’ll have a little more time on my hands for the next couple of weeks. Yeah I agree about the falsetto, he can do better than this but if it’s a demo I’m definitely interested in hearing a finished version… It has a lot of potential though…
