Ciara celebrated her ‘Fantasy Ride’ album release with fellow ATL R&B singer Monica, and many others. The exclusive album release party took place at Luckie Lounge in Atlanta last night:

Amerie’s new album will no longer be called ‘Breakups to Makeups’ because she has changed it again. Earlier today, she confirmed via Twitter that her forthcoming new album will now be titled ‘In Love & War’…

I see that the new album title has the same conceptual angle as the previously announced one. Who gives a sh*t about album titles anyway? Too much talk and not enough music action. Just drop the single already.

Yesterday (April 30th), Beyonce was spotted greeting some of her fans in Hungary, where she played a concert last night. The singer kickstarted her European ‘I Am’ tour on Sunday and her next stop is Prague in Czech Republic later today.

So Beyonce may not be that manipulative diva after all. The latest story is that Beyonce was scheduled to show up for a private tour of a Vienna museum but shunned the appointment to go on a shopping spree. Rather than cancel the appointment, she was reported to have sent a body double to take her place (which looked nothing like her). It turns out that Beyonce had no knowledge of this so-called appointment because it was a prank made by an Austrian radio station acting as Beyonce’s Reps. This chick is certainly the victim of pranks lately but since it’s Beyonce I’m sure she’s the last one laughing. Picture source.

It is being reported that Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos is looking to get the alleged beating case dismissed based on the leaked photo of a severely battered Rihanna. E! News reports that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg today set a preliminary hearing for May 28th on Chris Brown’s double felony case.

Apparently, his lawyer is pushing for as late a court date as possible to provide him enough time to respond to the still-pending investigation into just how Rihanna’s police photo was released. If it is proven that the leaked photo was the result of a police transgression, Geragos has revealed that he will move to have the singer’s entire case dismissed. He is quoted as saying: “The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct”.

Adding to that, throughout the case, his lawyer has been working around the clock to negotiate a plea deal but it seems now that they’re not even fighting for a plea deal anymore. They are fighting for Chris to get off SCOT FREE. No punishment. No consequences. No anything. Chris being a first-time offender was the main basis used for the plea deal. If the case isn’t dismissed or no plea deal is struck and the case goes to trial, the singer could face a maximum of four years and eight months in prison if found guilty. He is currently facing felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.

Neither Rihanna nor Chris were present for today’s hearing. However, the ‘Umbrella’ singer’s interests—and those of her jewelers—were represented in the courtroom. Should next month’s hearing go on as planned, neither Chris nor Rihanna will be required to attend.

And then they move into Rihanna’s plush LA pad which she allegedly purchased for $2 million and they live battery ever after…

Former Cheetah Girl and 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon is putting her x-rated photo scandal behind her to concentrate on her career as a solo artist. Recently, she inked a deal with Def Jam and is currently working on her very first solo album. She shed some light in an interview with Seventeen magazine about who she is working with…

Robin Thicke and his childhood sweetheart wife actress Paula Patton attended the LG Rumorous Night which took place last night (April 28th) at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Shortly after, he performed on the Results show of Dancing With The Stars:

Over the weekend, Rihanna attended a ‘Reggae on the Hill’ festival in Barbados (April 26th) rocking a tiny powder blue mini-dress. At the gig, reggae singer Beenie Man put Rihanna on the spot and shamed her up in front of her hometown Barbados when he called for her to join him on stage. Whilst singing a very off-key version of the hook to her monster hit ‘Umbrella’, Beenie Man was heard singing the following line: “Me no have no fancy car, but me nah give you no scar” (his referral to Chris Brown beating her up; his court arraignment takes place later today). The crowd was on tenterhooks. And I guess Rihanna didn’t see the funny side because in the video (which I posted after the jump) the singer is seen walking off the stage:

What took place was definetely uncalled for. Even if he was on her side, she spent the past week in Barbados to not be reminded of such a horrific incident. All she wanted to do was chill out with friends and family away from the media spotlight, and even in her own home, she can’t do that. Yesterday (April 28th) Beyoncé was spotted catwalking the streets of Vienna, Austria with her mother Tina, as they headed out to do a spot of shopping. She was seen in a fashion-forward ensemble of J Brand jeans, £1,000 YSL cage boots and a Valentino bag. She was also wearing blinging Chanel earrings, a fedora hat and a polka dot bra underneath a white vest:

Ciara was seen in those very same YSL cage boots in black in London over the weekend. And Rihanna has some too! Now you know I gotta ask. Who rocked them better? Also, those J Brand rip jeans really are the craze among R&B chicks - Ciara, Rihanna, Christina Milian and now Beyonce. Her whole outfit was the business but that hair needs to go. Just hideous. Beyonce was taking a break from her European ‘I Am’ tour but it’s only a matter of time before she’s working her butt off on that stage again wowing crowds. Two more pics after the jump.
