Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are on their way to becoming the cheesiest celebrity couple if ever I’ve seen one. This is to a point where it wouldn’t even faze me should they be given a deal with Mattel to plasticine themselves into the newest urban version of Ken and Barbie. After a romantic dinner date at Japonais restaurant in New York City on Tuesday, January 6th, the two were spotted walking under an umbrella hand in hand:

Not sure if it’s me but their papparazzi shots look more and more staged each time they get spotted.
It’s like they’ve been rehearsing or s’um. The whole point of candid photo’s is to catch a celebrity looking relaxed and free, sometimes off their guard even. But everytime we see these two, they are always holding hands despite being crowded or Nick is always appropriately being overly attentive towards Mariah like a lovesick school boy crushing on his teacher.
At first I thought it was cute but now it’s bordering on Big Mac cheesy. I wonder how long this will last before the novelty starts to wear off.

They are always holding hands because:
1. They are in love and married (I know, that’s so lame, duh).
2. Look at Mariah’s shoes! Damn, she may fall down if Nick wouldn’t have hold her hand since papz are always ‘attacking’ her! (check youtube)
