Rihanna is nominated in the following categories: International Female Artist Of The Year and International Song Of The Year. The Awards will take place on January 17th, 2009.
In other Beyonce news, the singer has just scored her first nomination for Cadillac Records. Beyonce is nominated in the category ‘Actress In A Supporting Role’ at the 2008 13th Annual SATELLITE Awards. She’ll be up against Rosemarie DeWitt for ‘Rachel Getting Married’, Penelope Cruz for ‘Elegy’, Anjelica Huston for ‘Choke’, Sophie Okonedo for ‘The Secret Life of Bees’, Emma Thompson for ‘Brideshead Revisited’ and Viola Davis for ‘Doubt’.
Hmmmm…I guess I’ll reserve my thoughts on this when and if I see the movie. With such a strong line of actresses in the running, she’s going to need all the luck. The winners will be announced on December 14th, 2008…

I’ve seen The Secret Life of Bees, and I am familiar with the main characters.
