The Enrique song that Ciara featured on has finally leaked. The song is called ‘Takin’ Back My Love’ and the song is taken from Enrique’s forthcoming Greatest Hits album. Check out the audio below:
The upbeat dance track is very much a different musical tone for BOTH artists but that said, the song is catchy and very likable. I haven’t liked anything from Enrique since ‘Hero’ but this track is actually quite good. I see they even slipped in the vocoder to give the song more commercial appeal. In other Ciara news, it HAS been confirmed that Ciara’s forthcoming album ‘Fantasy Ride’ has been pushed back to NEXT YEAR. Ciara admitted to the pushback in a recent radio interview. Plus, Amazon states that the album will be released on JANUARY 27th 2009. With ‘Go Girl’ not doing as well as expected (despite an awesome high-budgeted video), the song hasn’t been performing well on the charts, so a pushback was just waiting to happen. Let’s hope her second single truly is the business so that her album can finally take off. Tracks like ‘Go Girl’ really isn’t cutting it. Even ‘High Price’ was a much better song.

take that back Toya!! High Price is highly awful, it came on in a club at the weekend the whole dance floor was empty!!! Echo, now thats a single, that song is fireeee, Go Girl was good but it lost its appeal after a few plays, just wasn’t that much of a banga after a while

I think this could do well on the charts its the kind of sound she needs for crossover appeal.
I really wanted fantasy ride this year but can wait till janurary. I for one think it’s a really good idea it got pushed back because beyonce and britney would of destroyed her career. I’m not sure if I like high price.. I think it would do better on the charts then go girl which is ok IMO. Work is a nice club track. To be honest I knew go girl would flop as soon as it was released on itunes her promo team is WACK AS HELL! they didnt advertise or update her youtube page or myspace or official site. and she didn’t even have one of the top row buttons on itunes where it could actually atract people’s attention. Maybe this will be a wake up call. I want a strong next single now.. if she was clever she would listen to a majority of the people who wanted high price after all the fans are the ones buying.

having a strong first single helps alot but it’s also not the end of the world, t.i.’s first single of paper trail was actually no matter what and it stood at #72 on billboard.. maybe there’s hope..

Rap-Up.com was informed that Kanye was supposed to appear on the album, but the verse was not completed. So, he recently went into the studio in Brazil to finalize the verse for the remix of “Ego,” which was written and produced by Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams and Harold Lilly.
