Keri Hilson took us behind-the-scenes of her second single ‘Return the Favor’ which features her long-term collaborator Timbaland. The video is being directed by Melina, who also did Keri’s ‘Energy’ video. Check out the footage below:
As stated, Keri says her album ‘In a Perfect World…’ will still drop on Dec 9th, the same day as fellow R&B songstresses Ciara and Brandy so the competition is pretty fierce. As for some of the sneak peak footage, the dance scenes where she’s rocking the patent leather look like it’s going to be hot, but the mirror scene looks like a straight jack from Rihanna’s ‘SOS’. I can’t wait to see the final outcome of the video. It looks like it’s going to be a lot better than ‘Energy’ which was quite bland. This video looks a lot more colourful, vibrant and theatrical.

She always comes off really hungry for success. And it’s so obvious she’s using the Timbaland joint because that’s what will catch peoples attention. They never looked twice when Energy was out.
Sorry, she seems like a nice girl, but this album/single will flop.

i prefer the demo version of Return The FAVOUR, the whole “if i take you there, ifi take u there what you gone do tonight” was a killer line and its been removed, the chorus has been watered down and now its got a repetitive arrangment similiar to Gimmie More but doesnt work aswell
i downloaded the new version and replaced the old version and now i can’t find that anywhere!!!

good news 4 all beyonce fans and stans,rapup has just confirmed a spanish version of iiwab and a rerelease of the entire album in febuary(in spanish)and an official tracklisting with production credits and also a video for every song on the 2 disk set and an anthology dvd.they said timbaland was gon be producing the majority of the album but i didnt see timbaland credits on any song or swizzy either

i agree toya…the “energy” video was all ass and tits and as a heterosexual female it was not appealing especially for a mid tempo ballad…i wish her success though but i just can’t see her having a career…

I don’t know why Keri label keep letting melina direct keri videos…Her first single ENERGY was good but the video didn’t move the song up on the countdown and now they are doing the same mistake with RETURN THE FAVOR…I personally like the demo better…I got a bad feeling Keri is going end up like JADE.

1. Can someone in Keri’s camp please talk to her about her Flock of Seagulls haircut?
2. She’s needs to call this project a wrap. I was checking for her for the first 10 years and 11 months that she swore her album was coming out soon, but not anymore. Everything that’s leaked has been wack.
3. Melina has done nothing for me on her last few videos.

Um some of you are haters Keri Hilson looks very retro and sexy and the video seems like its going to be good some of you that are saying she is trying to jack Rihanna videos are a bunch of haters that cant see no one else doing them Rihanna aint even creative at all and nothing about her is creative but the style team she has and the people who write her music for her other then that she aint all that and Keri Hilson is way better then her plus Keri Hilson style seems genuine and she looks very good.

lmaaaaaaooooo so wait, BEYONCE doesnt copy ciara or anyone else in her videos but keri does [i will say i dont believe beyonce copied anyone]??? anyway, i seen an interview she did saying that she “swiched things up”, which most likely means that some things on the album changed, so we may not hear the same leaks from the album. im looking forward the hearing keri’s new album, shes talented beautiful [with her hair], and i feel like she could go somewhere. quite frankly, im tired of seeing the same ppl, i do feel that keri can let loose more when it comes her music and video, some more attitude but overall i like keri alot. i will be buying her record.
